Here you will find directions on how to get to the festival by car and find the parking field.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can you drive on the forest road to the festival field itself, not even to drop off bags!

But the parking field is only 20 minutes from the festival itself.

The nearest village to the festival is called Ticha – be careful! There are a couple of other bigger towns called Ticha in the Czech Republic which might show up first when you search for it…

The Ticha you are looking for is Ticha Dolní Dvořiště-Kaplice near the town of KAPLICE.

Then you drive around the back of a farm on a dirt road to the parking.

The farmer decided he wants to charge 5 euros for each car for the whole time. His daughter will be there to give ‘tickets’ 🙂

The code for the gate is “2025”.

VERY IMPORTANT – The farmer says if the gate is left open we cannot come back next year. So PLEASE ALWAYS CLOSE IT!

Then you park along the edge of the field neatly with consideration for other drivers 🙂

Then opposite the parking field you follow the yellow sign and the path up the hill. The sign points to Tokaniste. And from now on you may see some yellow paint marks on the trees.

And up the hill on the grassy trail you go. From here it’s about 20 minutes. The field on the left is now actually ploughed so it looks brown not green!

You walk on past a small lake and then you take a turning to the right. You pass a little chapel and after 200 hundred metres or so you will come to the festival field.
